Chicken Livers Peri Peri






100 g onions, sliced
Olive oil
250 g fresh chicken livers
2 chillis, sliced
½ cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper
To serve: freshly baked bread

In a large skittle heat the oil, add the onions and sauté until soft, but not brown. Remove the onion and heat the pan. Add the chicken livers and fry until golden on each side.
Turn down the heat and add the chillis, onions and cream. Cook until the livers are pink. Serve with bread.

Pour in two tablespoons cognac right before its done, and flambee the chicken livers!
