Lamb burger






500 g lamb mince
½ onion sautéed
One pinch dry oregano
One pinch smoked paprika
1 egg
Salt and pepper

2 white burger buns
2 small handfuls of mixed salad leaves
½ red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons tomato chutney (recipe p 233)

Mix the lamb mince together with onion, spices and the egg. Work the mince well together and add salt and pepper to taste.
Shape into two large patties and fry in a frying pan until golden and firm.
Slice open the bun and place on the patty, dress with mixed salad leaves, sliced red onion and tomato chutney.

Serve together with homemade chips, and perhaps a few ice cold beers.
