METHOD

1 chopped onion
3 spoonfuls of rapeseed oil
1 teaspoon of turmeric
4 chicken fillets
1/2 teaspoon of salt
150 g of split peas
3 dl of dried apples
2 spoonfuls of tomato purée
5 dl of water
1/2 dl of sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
The juice of half a lemon

1 Let the onion simmer in oil, and add the turmeric.
Cube the chicken fillets and add them to the onion
and turmeric. Add salt.
2 Rinse the split peas and add them to the casserole
together with the dried apples and tomato purée.
3 Add the water and let it boil until the split peas have
turned soft. Add the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice,
and let boil for 10 minutes.
4 Remove the casserole from the hotplate and let it
stand for 15 minutes before serving.
